I've got my DHD on Vodafone and all seems well. No problems with 3G connections so far, although I do tend to use the wireless connection at home and work cos its quicker and doesn't impact my data allowance. I'm paying

I'm finding the DHD to be a monster for data and I used about 800mb in my first month. So I'm really glad I have the 1gb package from 3. Also, the 3 phones still seemed to be unlocked and unbranded (if you're getting a handset deal)

Only downside: 3 don't allow data usage over 2g. This seems to be one of the big battery-saving techniques that people are using.

Also on 3 here, I get at least 3g coverage, Usually HSDPA, Never had any problems yet, Also mine was unlocked and unbranded.

it really depends on your location. I was on 3 on N95 but on N900 it was pants. I swotched and I'm now on Vodafone and its generally ok.

Talk to an impartial shop - if such a thing exists now!

Three were brilliant for me, best network I've ever been with. GiffGaff offer free data (unlimited), they run on the O2 network too. Agree about their 3G, poor, but OK for free
