Help Differences R2BA026?

Orange better not mess around with 2.1 cause I will be really p***** off if they do.

I just hope they release eveything with 2.1 as soon as its out.

so far, this is what I found:

• They added the creatouch app
• The volume is a lot louder if you play a video in MediaScape
• No more PlayNow app (maybe beause I'm in the USA)

Orange are on R2BA020. Theres no update unless you debrand your phone. You could ask them if theres going to be a update to R2BA026. But Dont expect much more than a funny look

my carrier is also orange ( FRANCE) and i was on r2ba020, and there was no orange official update available , even through pc companion!
But with SEUS ,on my computer i got r2ba026 this morning ( 09.09.2010)
why not try then ? and good luck!
ps: i do not know yet if it improved the awful sound level of my incoming calls!!!

OK, I am in need of some help.. I have version R2CA016, I do NOT have Playnow and when I check via the PC connection, it says my OS is Current. But how can it be current if people have newer releases and Playnow (Which I hear is pretty cool).

So can someone show me the way..................... Thanks

Are you rooted? I am in the states as well and I thought we all have what I have R2CA016, unless you are rooted. I also do not have Playnow. So, show me the way.................. Thanks!

Ive just checked SEUS again today and still no up date to 026 for Orange (uk). I just hope they bundle it all together with 2.1

Only had the 26 update last week. Am on O2. I've not got playnow or creatouch although i have got a SE icon called "com.sonyericsson.playnowstore.android.app.storefrontactivity" when i try to open it, it crashes zeam. Gonna try and do a fresh install see if it will sort it out. Not that i'm bothered having either of these apps but i'd like to get rid of the SE app icon that does jack sh*t other than crash my homescreen

Did a fresh install and now i've got the playnow app but no creatouch but at least i've got rid of that pointless crash inducing app icon.

Now, where's my damn 2.1 update.
