    If the disable option is blocked (the button is greyed out) is there any other way to freeze/disable an app without root? I don't think there is but I've been wrong before.

    Yes, freeze the app with titanium backup or something like that.

    I think the only way would be with root, and then Titanium Backup (or another similar app) that can freeze or remove apps.

    Root your device first then download Link2sd to freeze

    lg smart world - u

    There are still more stock apps that can be disabled or un-installed. These are just the ones I did. You can get rid of most of them, with the exception of 2 or 3 apps.
