Disabling "Emergency Call"?

Is there any way to alter the behavior of my Note so that I'm not repeatedly pocket-dialing the "Emergency Call" feature?

Of course no calls get made.... but the screen comes up and then various non-911 numbers get pocket-dialed into it and it makes it's displeasure known by issuing little chirps/clicks into the earbuds while I'm walking along.

Or do I need to work on my own behavior and figure out another way to carry it besides my side pants pocket?

You might try call confirm. This will prompt you every time you wish to make a call.

FWIW for anybody else: Call "Confirm" does not do it, but but the lock screen app "Widget Locker" does.
