I am a new Motorola Android v. 2.1 user. I have had it for two weeks. Steep learning curve for me because technically unsophisticated.
1 - The inability to disconnect a call is driving me up the wall. Other than turning the entire phone off are there fixes and how does one incorporate them into the operating system?
2 - How does one install an app after it has been downloaded?
3 - Are there ways to lock input so that when driving someone who touches phone doesn't force me to restart navigator and re-input the destination?

    Any help would be appreciated!!!

    1. If you go back into the phone there is an end button, it is pretty big, and red. It also says end. If you take the phone away from your face the screen should come back on and it will be there.

    2. When you download an app it is automatically installed, you don't have to install it, unless you downloaded it from a non-market source, in which case you would have to have a file manager, such as astro, and browse to the app then install it. But seeing as how you said you were technically unsophisticated I suggest that you only download apps from the market.

    3. You could turn the screen off, the navigation will still speak to you with the screen shut off but you won't see the screen, which is a toss up really. You will still be able to hear the directions and having the screen off will save battery life anyways. Other than shutting the screen off, no, there is not a way to block input unless there is an app on the market which does so that I have not seen.

Hope this helps! PM me if you have further questions or just reply to this. Good luck! :)
