I've got a ton of divx films and don't feel like having the bulky, and imho, cluttered Rockplayer on my Desire.

I'm looking for a very simple converter (mp4) that doesn't take 3 hours to convert a 29 minute film like Handbrake does!!

Also tried "Super" and it doesn't work for me.

Needs to be free also! ;)

I won't forget the "thanks" function for any help!

    Thanks. :)

Google CNET downloads and do a search, the filter by free on left hand side. Then sort by editor or user rating.

Try some out. I don't know any specifics but its a good resource

EncodeHD. It also has an option for the Desire.

Took about an hour for a 600mb movie. Reduced the size by 25% too.

Yep it will reduce the size if you're starting out with a version that is for a big screen and then making it fit on a small screen

Told me I need to install dll. files that are missing, there's no executable file and the one I found converted a 29 minute episode of Ray Mears in 9 minutes in perfect quality! :)

    Thanks given to you. ;)

The executable is EncodeHD.exe, it is in the zip file.

Okay, thanks but I converted a film with mine and it only took 20 minutes or so! :)

Maybe you should check it out... ;)
