    I used the 'Spirit Level' app while doing a spot of DIY the other day.
    Obviously i checked it against a real spirit level before continuing, but the app was very accurate.
    So we've got a spirit level, an on board calculator (for doing your calculations / conversions) and a couple of other unit conversion apps on the market.
    I'd like to see a few more DIY apps hit the market, it would be excellent to lighten up my toolbox further by implimenting some more apps on to the hero such as a power drill, hacksaw or even jackhammer !

    Metal Detector will help you find pipes and cables in the wall before drilling through them.

    The screen is pretty resistant, you can hammer nails in with it

    Makes a great door wedge

    Hotwire the battery, so you can do some welding
