    Great forum and hello everyone.

This is my first post. I have an Asus Infinity TF700t. I just updated it to Jelly Bean, do I need to re-root it? I say this because since the update, Superuser and Titanium Backup are denied access to root. I have had the tablet 2 months and as a result, I'm not proficient with android. My cell phone is so old, it doesn't even have a keyboard. Ha HA HA

    Hello gandelf. :)

There are several ways of determining if your device still has the root exploit: you mention one of them, the SU lack of access to denial of root access. ;)

Search the Play store for Root Checker. I think it depends on how big the update is. When I updated my phone from 2.2 to 2.3, I lost root. When I updated my tablet from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2, CWM alerted me I would lose root unless I rebooted correctly, but I skimmed over that and had to re-root. At least I think it was root, I know it also alerted me of the update automatically flashing stock recovery, so maybe not.

Thanks for the quick comments; I will install the app and give it a go.
