To conserve battery life, I had set my phone to sleep after 30 seconds - which it does - but it also locks. That is driving me crazy - particularly while I'm trying to work out how the phone works.
Every other phone I've had has had two distinct options - time before it goes to sleep, and time before it locks. But I don't seem to have this choice on the HTC Desire.
It seems ridiculous for the phone to lock every time the screen powers down.
