Does Flash make something like Google Earth more responsive?
I have 10.1 installed running froyo and I can see macromedia animations now on my website using Dolphin HD. But I wanted to know what else it will do.

    Thanx

AFAICT, it is used only when it is called - so if the app is designed to make calls to the Flash apk, then it will work - but no apps that I know of currently do this.

Flash only plays Flash media. It doesn't make anything else faster. Without Flash, you cannot see Flash content on pages.

I was thinking of Games that might use Flash media - but I drew a blank on an actual example....

I was referring to games you install on the phone, not Web-based games.

If it's installed on your phone and ran without Flash... it's not Flash.

The answer to the OP's questions is no.

OK. I just didn't (don't) really understand what it is. I stuck some Flash animations on my site and knew you needed Flash on your computer to get them to work, but it was just a cut & paste deal. I didn't create them.

So actual video is available on websites in Flash? Is that so the viewer's browser doesn't have start to load it (buffer?) to view it seamlessly?

...Sorry for all the newb questions. I'm an old dog trying to learn new tricks; Hard to do when you don't have a clue about the basics! lol

Flash isn't some magic cure-all (despite what reading threads posted by those impatiently demanding it might imply). It's not relevant at all to Google Earth.
