Restore with the nandroid backup and it will take her phone back to it's previous full state, pics and all.

You may already know this, but it's a good idea to keep an up to date nandroid on your SD card. Anytime you are going to make a change like flashing a new ROM be sure and make a new nandroid backup before you flash the ROM. Also, just to be safe, make a copy of the nandroid backup file on your PC just in case your SD card fails. You'll be glad you did if you have an "Oh sh!t" moment.

IN ADDITION, it is WISE to COPY that backup to a folder on your PC as a redundancy protection against the SDCard failing... at least then you will have no fear of losing everything, even of the phone is lost. ;)

    Just my $.02

    Happy Trails!

If you load a new ROM you benefit because if the ROM doesn't flash properly or your phone keeps going into a boot loop, you can just restore with the latest nandroid you made before flashing that ROM. That is the main reason and it's what I do before flashing another ROM.
