Does tethering without a Mobile Hotspot plan violate the TOS?

    yes, it violates the service agreement, under 'specific terms & restrictions on using data services.'

    I can probably afford the Mobile Hotspot feature, but I'd rather not pay if I could get away with tethering without it.
