Does Verizon have a plan where you can buy blocks of time?

I'm currently using an AT&T Pay As You Go plan where I buy blocks of time for both voice and data. But AT&T's signal is horrible where I live.

Does Verizon have a plan like this? I have an unlocked Nexus One.

To reiterate, I want to pay for a block of minutes. I do not want a plan with an ongoing monthly fee.

Verizon does have pre-paid plans: VerizonWireless Prepay

They even have a plan with a smartphone now. But you could not use your unlocked Nexus One because Verizon's network is CDMA and the Nexus One is a GSM device. It's just incompatible.

I'd consider getting another phone if they have a plan I want.

I looked at the Verizon Pay As You Go plan before starting this thread. It says it is for basic devices. I assume that means it can't be used with an Android phone. The only smartphone plan I see is a 30 day plan.

Yes, and for $80. They want to be sure to get $30 for their data, even if it is only 1Gb. Not really a good deal.
