Help double letter in chrome address box

Had this problem since kit kat update. I type f in the address box. It temporarily shows fieldmaster highlighted in blue then fieldmaster dissapers and it adds a second f leaving two f's. I can stop it from happening by disabling auto complete. But auto complete is good and i want to use it. Ive searched google and it seem other ppl have same problems since kk update. Is the a fix? Bring it to the carrier and ask them to reflash it. If that fails, since the update is still under warranty, ask for a replacement or the carrier's district rep. They broke it, they own it.
