Help Double SMS message

Hello there,

Just searched all around but can not find any thread related to this problem.

I don't have any other SMS app installed on my Desire (like handcent...), but when message is received I get to hear the same sound two times and two mail icons pop-ups in the upper left corner.

There is an non rooted unbranded Desire, with Froyo. Couple of days ago reseted to factory default... Everything was done well except this thing.

Any idea?

Have you tried completely disabling notifications for the Messaging app...then restart the phone and turn them back on again?

Thanks for answering, Just give a try but remain the same. even more, when all disabled still receiving one message!!?? it seems that it's coming from something else. any other ideas?
Now installed handcent sms and standard notif. disabled - still two icons in the status bar...

There was "notification ON" in the Beautiful SMS widget 2.
