I just switched to HandCent from Go SMS and when I do not have HandCent open and receive an SMS it appears twice in my notification (as if I received 2 SMS, not one notification from Messaging or Go SMS and one notification from HandCent) and when I view the SMS it appears twice in the conversation thread.
However, if I already am in HandCent it appears only once.
Does anyone know how to stop the double messages?
