I'm having some trouble downgrading my phone.
It's on Android 2.3.5 and a Vodafone RUU, HBOOT Version is 2*
Everything seems to go fine until I go to install the old RUU.
It just hangs at the sending screen on the pc and the silver HTC logo on my phone.
Just after a bit of advice if possible, really want to get this done.
Cheers.

Firstly is HTC sync installed? next,

Look into extracting the rom.zip from the RUU, then rename it to PG88IMG.zip, then place that file on your sdcard root and boot into hboot, try install from there (follow onscreen instructions).

Also, make sure (if) your bootloader says LOCKED or RELOCKED, cause this can also cause problems.
