I have a Sprint Hero and had a question about downloads.

When I go to the Droid Market and download desktops it says they are on my card...but I can not find them. How can I see what is on the card and where do the downloads go?

    Peace

Anything downloaded from the Market is normally installed. Do they show in the App Tray? I'm not clear on what you mean by "desktops", can you explain in more detail?

When I download a decktop (the pic in the background) it says it is saved to my SD card but I can't find them. I download several at a time. I can set the desktop or save it.

Ahh, gotcha now. They'll be found in a folder named "download" on your memory card. Are they not showing up in Albums?

There is nothing in the Albums. I thought there was a problem so I even reformatted it..so now there is nothing for sure on it. So I went and downloaded more and can't find them.
How do I see what is on the card?

    Peace

Connect to PC via USB cable, pull down notification bar, select "USB connected" then "mount". The card will now be available as a removeable drive in Windows Explorer.

I have an Apple and I don't think this will work.

There should be a way on the phone to see what's on the card....one would think.

You would think that, wouldn't you? Guess what.... there isn't.

However, you can d/l the Astro file manager from the Market and that will solve the problem for you.

I agree 100% - surely it can't be that difficult?

    Glad you were successful, anyway.
