Help Downloaded apps don't show up

Although I was able to download apps from the market initially, I now am having a problem. I can download an app successfully, but it doesn't show up anywhere. When I go to the market, it says it was downloaded successfully, but I can't hit the "open" button, just the "uninstall". These apps show up in the "My apps" list in the market and on the "Manage applications" list, but not anyplace else. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and rebooted the phone, to no avail.

Try resetting the market. Go to settings>applications>manage applications>click all at the top> scroll down to market> Force stop and clear data.

Tried it but it didn't work. Arghh - so frustrating.

fwiw, it sounds like the market is having problems...
