If you downloaded it from the Market, it should have installed it, so you'll want to look for the app in the apps list.
its installed but i cant find the apk to upload to my computer
If you use astro file manager, you can look in the app manager (menu in astro) and it shows u a list of installed apps. check the check box beside the app u want to save.. and hit the 'backup' button. the app can be found in sdcard/backups/apps?
note: this is all off the top of my head as my phone is rebooting at the current time.. but it should be pretty close.
unless it's a purchased app, then astro won't help you
easiest way to get the apk is to root your phone and install titanium back up, back up the app in question, this creates a titanium backup folder on you memory card where the APK will be.
On a seperate and possibly irrelevant note posting APKS on the site for paid apps isnt allowed (more so a heads up for any reading this not just people already in post)
