    Go to about phones-system updates (same place you went to download). It should pop up under sw update that it is waiting to install.

    that didnt seem to work, the order of places you gave were kind of mixed up i think. setting-> about phone -> then came up the software information (still says 1.39 baseband version

    then i also tried menu ->setting->system updates, and nothing popped up , theres only the choices of updates. i clicked on the htc software update and still nothing, it wanted me to "check" again

    does this mean i didnt update it at all since there is no record of it any where? (so it seems)

    Home->menu->settings->system updates->HTC software update

    That should get you there. Looks like I'll need to apply mine when I get home, since it DL'ed but didn't install also.
