The MT3GS uses Dragon Dictation for its "Genius button" but I just discovered that you can also use it for generic text dictation -- and it works much better than the default android 2.x speech-to-text. You get to it by "long pressing" the optical pad while in a text box, selecting "Input Method," and selecting "Dragon Dictation." Then tap "Tap to Speak" and enjoy! All input will then stay on dragon dictation until you change it back to Swype or whatnot. Sorry if this is obvious/commonly known, but I didn't see it in the instructions and just kinda stumbled across it myself. What I find interesting is that I can't find any way of getting Dragon Dictation for the android stand-alone. I see it for the iPhone, though. Is this an exclusive deal with t-mobile or something? Like I said, it seems to work a lot better than the built-in google voice-to-text.
