Help driving mode

has anyone got driving mode sussed since the update?, its the first time ive tried it for a while ive got read message body on in svoice, message ticked in driving mode, unlock screen ticked. in driving mode, ive had it working a min ago now its not just reads time weather and says ive got a text not sufe what im missing?

ah think ive sussed it but its hardly perfect messages needs to be closed and phone needs to be on lock screen, it wont read out text as it arrives i have to wake the phone to lock screen? makes it pointless for texts surly the point is not to have to touch the phone while driving...?

I'm thinking that to get Driving mode to work correctly the phone needs to be in a car dock that would turn it on. Just a guess. BTW, what does sussed mean?

It means to get to the bottom of something; to work it out. You can say you "sussed it" or you "sussed it out". The verb "to suss" or "to suss out".

sussed = figure it out.., from what ive read somewhere maybe on here the car dock is no longer an option samsung have just made it driving mode so no car dock mode (or what ever its called) ..

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to the phone so I can't answer the question. Haven't done anything special, just clicked driving more when I go for a drive...and it works! Don't know why.

Kind of on the same subject. I have Sygic installed on my un-modified S3. When I plug the phone into my iBolt car dock (which is awesome btw), the phone goes into car mode. If I already have Sygic running, it kicks out and gives me the 'What do you want to do' prompt. Is there a way to disable that?
