This takes screen shots of your phone.

I press start and then I shake it and it takes a picture.

However it's taking a picture of the countdown and the "Start Cancel". It's not actually taking a picture of the screen. In other words, it's taking a screen shot of itself.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a better screen capturing program for rooted users?

I had that problem...though it's not really a problem. Thing is, once you set it you have to back out...drocap2 will continue to be set to take the picture. It does actually work. But now...gonna go check out ShootMe!

I like shootme because you can take continuous pictures without having to go back and click start.

That is probably what I like least about it, talk about a great way to eat up your memory, plus I tried that mode and the image quality looked like crap!...

Hmm...well, ShootMe is more convenient to be sure, but I expect one would do well to remember to shut it down when done with it. drocap2 has the timer feature, which I think is cool...I'll keep both around for a while and see which one I want to keep. As far as the image quality goes, it seems fine to me, then again I just took a few quick pics of some of my home screens.
