Droid 2 consensus

I've found a 1 week old Droid 2 for sale for $400. I've been tossing around the idea of the Dinc and D2 but not sure which one to get. The Dinc seems to have a lot more followers in terms of ROM's etc than the D2.

But the D2 doesn't seem to be to shabby in the specs dept and from what I've read the battery life on the D2 is much better then the Dinc

What's the overall consensus on the D2? Is it worth spending $400 on or should I get a Dinc instead?
