Droid 2 owners, please read this & help me out real quickSupport

    The Droid X has a feature within Menu->Settings->Keyboard that allows you to completely disable the screen lock so that a simple press of the power button unlocks and locks the phone. Can someone with a Droid 2 verify if they do the same thing or not?

    No, but there is an app that does that for the D1, I can only assume it works for the D2. Not remembering the name right now but it would seem unlikely to not have that option via an app.

    I'm aware of apps and I want a permanent fix... not some 3rd party laggy somewhat working fix. Thanks anyway.
