    Firefox has much better functionality and is only slower than Chrome by fractions of a second. Chrome does not have add-ons anywhere near what Firefox has to offer, especially in the ad-blocking department, as well as safety. Don't EVER sacrifice safety for speed. Also, speed is relative to your internet connection. Chrome also has no support for WOT to warn you of malicious sites either, until they do, I only use it if I know exactly where I'm going. Firefox wins in every category.
