Droid and 2.2- has it slowed your droid down?

I had read on other forums where some users pulled the battery while the phone was till on. Seemed a bit simplistic, so I went ahead and gave it a try. It's now been 48 hours and the lag has completely disappeared.

I did that countless times and it still came back after a while. it is not really any different than rebooting the phone.

FWIW, once you do ROOT, i would suggest using a ROM that has the sampsonite home screen lag fix built in. i think SS4.9 and project elite v3 has it for sure. i am using PEv3 and the lag is pretty much gone. been using it for just under a week and i have only had 1 redraw. and i use my phone ALL the time.
