Droid Eris Keyboard and AIM

I've installed leak 2.1 v2 on my own Eris last night. After making sure everything worked out, I installed it onto my girlfriends. Everything was doing ok until she told me that her keyboard would retract on its own in the middle of typing. We have tried to reflash 2.1 and even calibrating the keyboard several times. Has anyone else had this problem or could give me any advice?

Also, She has told me her AIM app keeps crashing. Its just started doing this frequently in the past 4 hours.

Can't help you with your issue, just wanted to know how you calibrate the keyboard? Stock keyboard?
