I really want to get Droid Explorer on my PC and I have tried every version there is to try. Keep getting error message Droid Explorer.bootstrapper has encountered a problem and needs to close. When i look at details it says error signature is clr20r3 ,lists P1 thru P9, P9 is system.io.filenotfoundexception.

Can anybody help me with this? Do I need to install something prior to Droid Explorer ?

Thanks in advance

If you have fulfilled all the requirements before installing then:

1.Did you download the right version for your OS?
2. Do you have SDK / ADB already installed?

If yes to both, DE is actually installed and now do this:

Open windows task mgr and see if ADB.exe is running (in apps tab and processes tab, there could be up to three running).

Uninstall DE

Go back to task mgr and kill all ADBs

Reinstall DE

If it errors again, ignore and reboot and you should be fine.

Worked like a charm for me.
