I've tried searching for related threads before posting but could not find one so forgive me if this has already been mentioned before.

I have the original Moto Droid running stock 2.2. Recently I have been having issues when I unmount my phone from my work PC. I will occasionally take photos here at work and then Xfer them via usb to my pc. It has always worked in the past but for the past few weeks now whenever I unmount after xfer it locks my phone up. It will get extremely slow moments after and then it will just lock up and become unresponsive. I will eventually have to do a battery pull and let it reboot. Can't say for sure off of memory but it seems like now every time I will have to reboot the phone 2 or 3 times before it ever gets back to running properly. I don't recall dling anything out of the ordinary or changing any settings anywhere.

I don't connect to my laptop at home often so I can't say for sure if it is happening there also or not.

Any help would be great, THANKS!

Makes PERFECT sense(lessness) to ME!! I HAVE had same frustrating time since Day OF last droid's "UPdate". VERIZ says it's sometimes 'fix'able...but NOTHING has resolved it completely, for me!!
I have FACTORYReset...gotten new PHONEs...etc...supposed to be FIXed in next "UPdate"..(don't know what to believe! )
    BEST,& GBu!!
