Has anyone tried the Droid X keyboard on the Dinc??
Yes and it is fantastic. I have four different keyboards on my DINC (including official swype beta) and the X one is my full-time keyboard. I can't type faster on anything else.
you guys have the apk for it?

why are the letters so friggin small? is there a better version of this anywhere?
Are you using it on MIUI?
i am... does that matter? i mean i dont really care but it would prefer ones i didnt need retina display to see
Well the issue now for this is, the font is small on MIUI. It should work alright on other roms.
random. but still good. at least this has a dictionary, it was driving me crazy that the stock android keyboard didnt. not to mention i can type ridiculous fast on this keyboard
It's a great keyboard. Used it for quite a while on my Eris and downloaded it immediately when I got the DInc.
How responsive is it? Is it better than the stock one that comes with the Incredible?
I am yet to find a keyboard that is as responsive as the iPhone's. It keeps up so well with my speed of typing.
those two apk's don't work on mine. when i install, it says "application not installed" at the end. any ideas?
Is there a querty option for this? (The Layout is quertz)
I am almost certain that you have to be rooted to get this keyboard on your Incredible, because you have to remove your original keyboard apks (latinIME or whatever) before installing this one
You do not have to be rooted. It is running on mine.
How exactly did you do it without rooting? You just installed the apk file like you would any other? With Astro?

The Xda link has a Froyo link.
i tried installing wtih estrong file manager, which installs EVERYTHING i have....but nope, didn't work
I abandoned the X keyboard when it first was available for the Incredible because there was no user dictionary. Has this since changed?
Rooted, tried the xda-froyo-droid2 link, no go.
is there a qwerty version for 2.2, unrooted?
I just returned home from the Verizon store with my Droid Incredible. I would really like to get this Droid X keyboard on my Dinc without having to root.
