I have charged my droid all night and it still will not turn on, any ideas on how to turn it on?

First, Welcome to Android Forums!!!!

There are a few things to check first. Check to make sure that there is nothing between the contacts of the phone and battery, such as protective film. Check to make sure that the battery is not loose in the phone.

Then, when you are looking at the front of your phone, with the Verizon logo on at the bottom, there is a button on the top right of the phone. Press and hold the button until your phone powers on.

If none of these work, take your phone it Verizon as it is defective.
