    I just got my Moment this past Friday and my visual voicemail hasn't worked since I've had it. If I do a reset through the 'settings' option would I permanently lose all my contacts or will they still be saved through my gmail account? Thanks in advance for any and all answers.

    They will be saved. When you start the phone it will ask you to log into google, which will bring your contacts over.

    Great. Thanks for the answer. Hopefully this will fix the problem. The only way I can check my voicemails now is if I use the dialer amd access the voicemail that way.

    since you're a former instinct user, i thought i remembered we had to do this to reset it...


    To do this:
    1) open up voicemail.
    2) Click on tab at top left of screen to create new message.
    3) click manual entry at bottom right of screen to input address.
    4) Click on "enter email address" and type in "activate@vvm.sprint.com".
    5) stop the recording when it starts and press "send" to send a blank message to the adress.
    6) you will receive a message on VVM shortly and that should reset it.

    Do you have any apps that might be causing the problem,. I am experiencing the same problem. I have an app called SMS PopUp that I think might be causing the problem. I am going to remove it & see if the problem clears up.

    Not sure. I started downloading apps before I checked to see if the voicemail was working properly. I went ahead and reset the phone then logged into my gmail account and put the contacts back in. I then called my number from another phone and lo and behold my virtual voicemail now works :) I have started installing the apps I had previously one by one and check the voicemail after loading each app to see if it was one of them that caused it to malfunction.
