Dumb Republicans... dumb Democrats... dumb Independents... it's all a matter of perspective.

I fear, in the long term, people will find that members of Congress are smarter than they're given credit for. They are reshaping this Republic into the governmental system that they want... one that closer parallels what George Orwell stated in his book "Animal Farm", "Where all Animals are created equal... but some are more equal than others".

The kicker here is that rather than stand up for our rights and the system we believe in, more and more Americans blindly vote to keep these vultures in office.

It is a post any typical liberal would make. It is unfair and it is unbalanced. Sure, people that happen to be Republican say and do things. What about the Democrats? If people think the Dems are innocent of making similar errors/mstakes/saying silly things . . . they are poorly mistaken.

I'm trying to become a more honest political creature. I'm trying to at least understand the other side's point of view. I've learned that the people who go to the ballot and cancel out my vote...are sincere people who think that they're voting for the good of the country.

But, dear Lord, politicians on both sides of the aisle can be so freakin' stupid.

Heck, my state (Kansas) considered dropping Mr. Obama off of the ballot last week.
