    I know this is probably a total newb question, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to relabel the artist and song names of songs that I downloaded. Because they are all messed up with numbers and dashes instead of them being under the correct artist and album art it is just throwing a majority of them under unknown artist. Also how do you properly label a song so it shows up with the artist and song name? For instance a file all messed up says 03_Marylin_manson - Sweet dreams_mp3.mp3 when obviously I want the song labeled simply: Sweet Dreams under the artist Marylin Manson.

    Ok how about just simply being able to go into your file folders on the SD card and access the files that way

    when an mp3 is created a mp3 tag is created with it. this is where the album/song info is stored. many times this tag is not set up properly and you need to change it yourself. if you want to change it you have to do so with an mp3 tag editor. mp3tagger works. its what i use. you will have to know the location of your music files on your phone.

    1. open mp3tagger
    2. hit menu -> load mp3
    3. go to the location of your music files then select the song.

    should work for you with no problems

    also if your not sure of the file location of your song just go to the default music player, bring up the song. then hit menu-> properties. scroll down to location.
