I want to email them with a few issues I am having - is there an address or is it a case of using the form on their web page?

Cheers, was that the customer support one? There doesn't seem to be one under technical support.

    I'd imagine it'll be a stock response:

    hard reset.

    They love that!

Indeed. Twas ever thus - you know it won't solve it, and it causes a load of hassle (backups, restoring settings, etc.), but you have to do it to satisfy them

Off topic - is Sprite Backup or MyBackup Pro better? Both cost $5, I used to use Sprite on WM and it was very good but have seen MyBackup Pro recommended here...

    Lol!

So, they suggest that the Googlemail registration can't be done over WiFi. If this is indeed the case it's pretty silly IMHO and they should advise of this rather than having to trawl the web/ask support.

...and their response to everything else is "hard reset". I accept that it might cure the weather problem (althought I am highly doubtful and will be a PITA due to backing up / restoring) and I will try it in due course, but I fail to see how it will affect the contact photo issues that as far as I can see are the same for everything, and I'm damn sure it won't miraculously make bluetooth support phonebooks and voice dialling

I know new stuff has teething problems, but it would be nice to feel that support were there to actually, y'know, support! ;)

"We can't really be bothered to help you right now, but can we have your details for our Dbase so we can spam the sh1t out of you?"

By the way: you can set almost everything up with wi-fi. I had to do it when Orange sent me a bad sim with the handset.

I think HTC need to seriously think about setting up an Android specific support area. The platform is getting bigger than the devices now.
