Email app not retrieving emails

Hi all.

I have a Droid Eris on Verizon. I use the default mail client with IMAP. It used to work great until 2 updates ago (I'm now at 2.1).

My IMAP email no longer automatically retrieves emails, despite my setting it to check every 5 minutes. It only looks for new mail once I open the app and then wait for it. But it doesn't seem to being doing Push like it used to (like IMAP should).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
