Email app recommendation?

The standard gmail app doesn't really take advantage of the screen. I'd like something that works like the iPad email app: Message list in portrait mode, but a message list and a preview pane in landscape mode. The standard gmail app just has the list of messages. That makes sense on a phone, but a nice large screen like the g-tab has could be used more effectively.
