Email issue with JB updateGeneral

    So I got the JB update early this morning (finally) and now my stock email app has gone haywire. It was working fine before the update. What is happening is that it keeps downloading old emails that were read and deleted weeks ago.

    It is set to retrieve 25 at a time, and it does this and then after I delete them it downloads more, all of which have been read and deleted, most long before I even got the Note. I have a GS3 phone also and have the email settings exactly the same but this doesn't happen on the phone, just the Note tablet.

    I don't know where it is getting them because I have the same email account on my laptop set to delete all emails from the server after one day.

    I appreciate any help I can get.

    Log onto the server and check if there are not inbox and the rule on your laptop to delete messages from servr really works.

    Yeah, checked that, but thanks!

    What's weird is that is works fine on my S3 phone with the same email app and settings.

    I have the phone and Note set to "never delete from server" and my laptop set for "Delete after one day". And up until Jelly bean on the Note, this worked fine.
