Email Lag

Has anyone else experienced any email lag. For example, you send an email from your captivate to an email address, and it takes hours for it to appear in the inbox?

I've run into this problem as well. The email app that comes on the phone seems to be pretty finicky. The Yahoo mail app is better for Yahoo mail...but still not real good. As has been noted before, the gmail app that comes on the phone seems to be the most reliable. When I get around to it, I am going to explore some of the other options on the market.

if you are running an app killer make sure its not killing your email app. put that on the ignore list and you'll probably get your email a lot faster. happened to me but now seems ok. doesn't come in instantly but doesn't take hours to pop up.
