This question is for those with 2.1/dd10. If you have a gmail account and have success receiving notification as email arrives, how did you guys configure the email setting?

I have tried many different combination of settings in both email and gmail apps with no success. I didn't have any issues prior to update. Anyone running 2.1 with working push email?

I didn't do anything than put my user name and password in and it works great. I do have "email notifications" checked in the settings and a ring tone selected and I have vibrate unchecked. I'm on DD10 V5 with live wallpapers if that helps at all.

Do you get the "@" symbol or the Gmail icon in your notification area?

I get the Gmail one for the gmail account and I used to get the @ for my work account, but I turned that off because I don't want to be notified for work email.

Same for me as Dura! It just worked like a charm!
Also on DD10 v5 with live wallpapers and Joeys recovery.

F the stock app. K9 mail FTW! :D Never any problems with K9, I've had it ever since I got the Moment months ago. 2.1 DD10 Joeys V7 Live Wallpapers, N1 Launcher, deleted Sprint bootup logo, deleted all sprint prebundled apps, custom startup animation, etc (all from sdx developers of course. )
