I am using Google Apps to host my email. On the Nexus One, there is no option to add a full signature that contains your name, title, company, address, phone number, fax number, email, and web site.

WTF?????? The Android signature only allows your name, Any additional information is on the same line. Very weak!!!!

In Froyo(2.2) you have the ability to add multiple signature lines to any email address. I have it now on both my Gmail and my Outlook emails.

Instead of the email signature looking like

    John Doe
    ABC Corporation
    123 Main Street
    Anywhere City
    Anywhere State
    USA
    123456

    It looks like:

John Doe ABC Corporation 123 Main Street Anywhere City Anywhere State USA 123456

How stupid is this????????? Very weak!!!!

I can't get the cursor to tab down to the next line. Am I missing something???

The only way I can get the cursor down to the next line is to keep using the space bar.

The N1 I was using was borrowed as mine is on order and will be here in a few days.

Are you saying you can get a signature in this format on your N1:

    John Doe
    ABC Corporation
    123 Main Street
    Anywhere City
    Anywhere State
    USA
    123456

Apparently you're missing the "enter/return" key

The enter/return key closes the "signature application".

Are you guys using an Exchange Server for email? I am using IMAP.

Thanks for your replies and help so far!

You are on 2.2 right? In both my gmail and my outlook exchange email I can hit the enter key all day long and it will keep bringing me to the next line. It never closes the application until I hit the "OK" button.

I just installed Froyo on my Samsung Captivate and I cannot get the signature to set up like it did before the update.

While typing in my signature I am able to hit ENTER so as to create a line break, but when the email actually goes out, the entire signature shows up on 1 line.

It needs to show like this:
    Johnny Jackhoff
    Acme Inc.
    (123) 456-7890
    johnny@acmeinc.com

    Instead it shows like this:
    Johnny Jackhoff Acme Inc. (123) 456-7890 johnny@acmeinc.com

Does anyone know how to fix this yet?

My sig comes out in a few lines, but not as many as it should have. Some of the "newline" characters aren't being read. i've edited and am definitely using the enter key. It looks right on the Android screen. (froyo, original droid, exchange)
