Email strange encoding charactersSupport

    Using the built in email client on my samsung epic, when sending an email using swype, the recipient of the email only sees strange characters and none of the text that I wrote in the email, this email worked fine before the most recent android software update sprint sent automatically a few weeks ago.

    I sent a test message for example with just the word "test" in it and this is what the recipient saw in their email: VGVzdA==

    If you go to your email account on your computer and check the sent folder, are the encoding still messed up?

    no they look fine in my sent folder, what encoding does the epic use? is it UTF8?
