    Hi
I hope someone can answer this. Should I have gmail check al my MSN Email or is the stock email application (non gmail) enough? Please let me know.

Personally, I have all of my "other" email account forward to my Google account. Otherwise, you may have a delay of 15 minutes or so before you see the mail. Google can check you other email accounts but it will only do it 3 or 4 times per hour.

Thanks, so if I forward my email to gmail, then all incoming messages go straight there and there is no delay? I really dont want gmail "checking" anything..seems slower

Yes. The only complication is that when you reply it will come from the Gmail acct. In my case when having my yahoo accts fwd to Gmail it is almost immediate. There might be a way to reply from another acct but I haven't found it.

If you have gmail retrieve your other email instead of having your other email forward, you can have gmail reply as that other account.

The problem with that is not all ISP's allow that spoofing. So if you send an email from your gmail account as your other email account and the that ISP doesn't allow it, it will say it's from your gmail account on behalf of your other email account.
If the person hits reply, it will reply to the other account.
