Help Emails received outside of defined schedule

Hello,

As the subject says really, i seem to receive mail (noticed with my hotmail) outside of the schedule that i have set.

I have accounts set as 8am - 18:30 Monday-Saturday.

Anything after these days are off peak which is set to manual not push mail. I switched my screen on 10 mins ago to find an email come through! By rights it shouldn't at this time with my schedule set!

I'm on ics using default email client.

I have the same problem with my Exchange mail.

I found the Push function was using a lot of battery so I set it the same as you. However, I still seem to be receiving mail pushed to my phone outside of this schedule.

Most annoying!

I had the same issue too, on ICS it would randomly download Exchange mail on weekends.
It also seemed to stop push mail early, for example it would be set for 5:30pm but it would stop downloading mail about 4:45.

After wiping the account and putting it on again it doesn't seem to do it, but I guess we'll see if that sticks.

Do we know if this will be fixed? A minor bug eliminating firmware update maybe?

Have Samsung confirmed change lists for newer roms etc or can we expect to be left with a flakey wifi problem?

Same here, on Exchange email. One of many ICS bugs which have convinced me to go back to Gingerbread as soon as I'm confident I know how without bricking my phone.

I used odin a few weeks back when i partially bricked my phone and it was dead simple. I would only be concerned now especially if i need to ensure i get the right file! Lol
