General Emails wont send from active sync account

    I love my droid eris but the exchange active sync account will not send emails. The emails stay in the outbox but never send no matter if I refresh the account or whatever else I do. Please help. I do not want to go back to blackberry so I need this to work.

    Is your Exchange account protected by a password or a PIN? If so, do yourself a favor and give up trying to use the built in Activesync support. Download and install Touchdown email from the Marketplace. It's a trial and you'll have to buy it if you decide to keep it.

    I do not know if it needs a pin. Blackberry didn't need one. Are they totally different systems?

    If your Exchange account requires a password or a PIN, you'd be prompted for it when setting it up on your Eris.
