Ematic funtab (help needed to root)

I got my daughter a 7inch Ematic Funtab with Android 2.2 and have tried to use some of the one-click root methods to no avail. I would love to put gingerbread on it but can't find any roms that will work (rooted or not). Any help would be greatly appreciated..

The funtab 7" I have is using ICS 4.0.3. I was able to root using bin4ry.
It took less than 5 minutes.
I also was able to find a work around to install google market version 3.1.3. It is old but after a small permission change it works and allows me to download and update apps. I see that there is really very little in the way of forums for help with this product. I don't know much but would be willing to help out in anyway I can. When I get home I am willing to post links to this info if there is still any interest in this product.
