    I have the same problem after flashing a BS rom and finding out the hard way it was fake. The rom was thankfully removed from this forum but the damage was done and I am hoping it can be fixed?

    I know there is a large support group for this issue on HTC phones and I hope we can get the same going.

    To answer the OP, it appears to be a bad bootloader issue.

    You try kdz method. It seems to ligit on recovering. Then try the lg recovery to be safe

    Soldier- It only works if the phone can go into download mode. Ours can not.

    I was actually able too with it hooked up normally in debug. Forgot to put it in DL. True story. I mean hey worth a shot if you ask me.

    What I mean to say is that our phones will not boot up at all. No lights, power, debug, nothing.

    I feel like we are almost there, i just need to know how the partition blocks are set up since they don't seem to be picked up on my linux devices as /dev/sd-type blocks. Other than that i have all of the steps listed here functioning the same. If Neph81 sees this and can tell me the mount point for the bootloader (and maybe proide a stock GB bootloader for good measure) then I think we can fix it using the same method.

    I will post the output of my ls /dev after work tonight if nobody else chimes in.

    -edit- Home for lunch so did a little testing. ls /dev is picking up a hidraw0 device with the phone plugged in. Does anyone have any insight to this? the information pulled from it is

    Sorry about the late delay. Life got busy last month. It's slowing down this month, and I just upgraded from an old AMD Athlon X64 to an I5. Kernels and what not compile much faster now. I'll hopefully be able to start tackling Lucid stuff again starting this coming week.
