emulate Galaxy S4 "sound and shot" using mp3 with album art

I thought this would be an "old tech" way of emulating the S4's "sound and shot" feature using a widely (possibly universally) accepted file format.
Looking for someone to develop an app to record a short mp3 file at the same time as (or just before/after) taking a full res photo, then adding that photo as album art to the mp3 file.
These mp3 photos could easily be shared and viewed/played by almost any media player.

Any takers?

This is an awesome idea.

I think it could be done relatively easily.

Great! I had the idea, but zero skills.
I have assumed (but not tested) that you can use high-res images as album art.
And that you can record audio art the same time as snapping a photo (don't see why not, but you know the foibles of operating systems).
